Complaints Policy
Last updated: August 28, 2026
If something has gone wrong, we would rather hear about it than not. This policy explains how to raise a concern, what happens next and where else you can go if you are not satisfied with our response.
What this policy covers
- The accuracy or clarity of information published on this website.
- The way we communicated with you, including calls, texts and emails.
- How your request or personal information was handled.
- A referral made through this website to an independent provider.
- Accessibility barriers on the site.
What it does not cover
Workmanship, pricing, scheduling, warranty and contract disputes are the responsibility of the independent company that performed or quoted the work. Raise those directly with that company first, since they hold the contract and the records. We will still record your concern about a referral so it informs how we work.
How to make a complaint
Call the number listed on this site or write to the mailing address on our contact page. Explaining the issue clearly helps us resolve it faster.
- Your name and the best way to reach you.
- The date and approximate time of the interaction or submission.
- The page address if the concern relates to website content.
- A description of what happened and what outcome you are seeking.
How we respond
- We acknowledge complaints within three business days of receipt.
- We review the relevant records and, where a referral is involved, contact the provider for their account.
- We aim to provide a substantive response within ten business days, and we tell you if more time is needed and why.
- Where we got something wrong, we say so, correct it and explain what changed.
If you are still not satisfied
You may escalate a concern about a contractor to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the applicable local building department, or the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, which handles consumer complaints in Florida. For concerns about how your personal information was handled, see our Privacy Policy for the options available to you.
Confidentiality
Complaints are handled discreetly and shared only with the people who need the information to investigate and respond. Records of complaints are kept for internal quality review and to identify recurring issues.
